The Police Athletic League of KCK (The PAL) is seeking a Development & Communications Specialist to join our team. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and rewarding opportunities with our growing youth development services nonprofit organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and manage grant reports and budgets
• Manage CRM and email databases and create donor correspondence
• Support and coordinate fundraising events
• Coordinate community outreach efforts
• Create email, social media and digital communications
• Data entry and reconciliation of expenses
 
This position requires strong administrative skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage schedules and budgets. The ability to communicate well verbally and in writing is essential. MS Office and Google Suite skills are needed. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 1-3 years of business experience in the nonprofit or corporate sector.

The PAL is located in the beautiful Strawberry Hill neighborhood of Kansas City, KS, in an historic landmark property. We provide youth development services for more than 1,200 children each year, building positive relationships between youth and police officers and the community.
