Low Rider Bicycle Club

Urban KCK youth face transportation challenges that can limit opportunities for school, work, and community engagement. The PAL KCK Low Rider Bicycle Club gives kids a hands-on “earn a bike” experience, where they build, repair, and personalize custom low-rider bikes under the guidance of police officer mentors. Participants gain practical skills in mechanics and design, a sense of ownership, and confidence, all while developing relationships with peers and positive role models.
