Inner-city youth face a higher risk of encountering guns, and the PAL KCK takes a proactive role in teaching safety and responsibility. Our Gun Safety & Marksmanship program, led by active-duty KCKPD police officers, gives participants hands-on experience in a controlled indoor range with air rifles, targets, and safety gear. Youth learn proper handling, safety protocols, and respect for firearms while developing focus, discipline, and confidence. This program also lays the foundation for other PAL KCK activities, including hunting and wildlife education.
